Dead Horse Canyon, Utah Utah -Arizona 2005 - Arches / Bryce / Capitol Reef / Grand Canyon / Arizona from Above / Red Canyon / Red Cliff / Monument Valley / Dead Horse Canyon / Driving / Kodachrome Basin / Zion I stood at the edge of this canyon, where there were no barriers, and I felt the wind come up from the canyon floor with a rush. Immediately I dropped to my knees, realizing how easily I could have been swept over the edge, with inevitable death at the end of a 4,000-foot drop. The photos I took cannot show this feeling or the depth of the drop. This is a place that one needs to see and experience for oneself. The land is meant to remain rustic, with horses and cattle roaming freely on the range. Mesa Arch, Utah
