Melk, Austria Danube River Trip - Budapest / Bratislava / Vienna / Basilika Mondsee / Bike Ride / Melk / Passau / Regensburg / Nuremberg / Karlovy-Vary / Prague Melk was the small town of my bike ride destination. Cobblestone streets led me up the hill to the town that is known for its abbey. At this point I was sick of seeing churches, abbeys, and the like, so I skipped the tour of the abbey. Instead I walked the hilly streets of the tourist-filled town, then settled back at the boat for rest.
